Next item of business is of course: the dress of the week...

Yet another Judd Waddell gown. Its a ball gown featuring a lace bodice with a gorgeous beaded ribbon accent belt. The skirt features luxurious pleating complimented by a full ball gown skirt.

Personalizing Your Bridal Look

One of the things that brides ask for most is for something that is unique to their bridal look. They always want something “different” and unique to their style. There are many ways that you can customize your bridal style, just some are more noticeable than others.

One of my favorites: Adding a custom monogram to the inside of your gown.

Another way, is to monogram the bridal veil, which is so amazing in my opinion.

You can also customize your gown, and I am very surprised that it has finally surfaced...

A fun way, that has really started catching on is to slip your tootsies into some fabulous shoes! Wedding shoes are not only in white or ivory anymore either, they are in full color!

Have you heard of dying your crenoline? You can!!! Dye it the color of your bridesmaids, or whatever color you want!

Spotlight: Ines di Santo

Today I wanted to spotlight yet another wedding gown designer, whom I really love. I think that the gowns are feminine, romantic, vibrant, unique, and they are very structured. Her gowns are manufactured in Canada, made at the atelier in Toronto. Brides have two options when purchasing their gown, they can either customize a signature design, or have something made that is original, and only for the bride. The gowns are made one at a time, by professionals that hand bead, pleat, etc. to make every dress special.

The collection is highly recognized and is carried in luxury retailers including Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.

Yesterday, I moved to North Carolina! I moved back with my mom and step dad :D and I could not be more happy! I will be working in a bridal shop, of course, doing what I love... selling wedding dresses. To me, I really don't think that I am just selling a wedding dress, I am making a dream come true, and that is what this post is all about.

In honor of the first in flight state, North Carolina, today I decided to blog about an incredible venue for all brides. My mom had stumbled upon this venue by accident, and lets just say... “Who wouldn't want to get married here!” What a phenomenal location, to make your dreams come true.

Enough about the awesome-ness of the venue, here it is: (drum roll please)

A new love.

Okay, SO I know that I was going to take a hiatus from blogging today, but I just couldn't! We got the new issue of Brides Magazine on stands next month, and there was a truly amazing gown in there by Oscar de la Renta on there that I had to blog about. THEN, just as I am searching for this gown on his site, I decide that I am pretty much in love with him! Haha! I have been searching for months now for a dress that I found back in April, because stupid me... I forgot to label who it was designed by! GUESS who it was....yep- you guessed it... Oscar de la Renta.

SO here we go:

The gorgeous PINK silk organza sweetheart gown with piped organza and a cascading ruffle skirt. It is really pretty in the magazine...wish I would have taken a picture of it! 

Oh and if thats not enough, the veil is made from Angel Cut Triple Horsehair finished veil. Here is more info about the angel cut veil... I think that veil is phenomenal...
